Primarily, this Quest is about guiding people through an exploration of:
- What complexity is, how it impacts you in your role, and why becoming fit for it is so important.
- How to recognise complexity and make sense of our context using the Cynefin sense-making framework.
- The four complexity fitness meta-skills (beCOOL) we need to hold as we navigate complexity:
- Courage – to try and fail; to be in ambiguity; to explore.
- Openness – to embrace diversity, to learn and unlearn.
- Observing – situational and inner awareness.
- Lightness – play, humor, beauty, and holding our egos lightly.
- Understanding and learning to mitigate The normal human patterns of thinking and being that get in our way when we find ourselves in complexity, including our need for Clarity, Certainty, Control, and Comfort.
This is a blended learning offer including self-paced online learning offerings augmented by small and large group interactions.
